Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Friday night and stumbled across this restaurant. It was very busy and we took that as a sign the food must be good. Loved every dish, from the complimentary lentil soup to the tea. Perfectly cooked meat, delicious bread, and flavorful sides. Fast service, friendly staff, and great value. Highly recommend!"
"Ordered the lamb kofta. Delicious. This place has excellent, speedy service and Maria is friendly and ensures you’re taken care of. If the bread is that bubbly you know the place will be great. Also, complementary sides, soup, and tea. What more could you ask for? 5/5"
"It serves really great food. It’s not the absolute best kebab you’ll ever find, but it’s definitely among the top. I had the lamb shank and it was excellent — tender, tasty, and honestly impressive for the price. The atmosphere is busy and full of energy, with a real Middle Eastern vibe that makes the place feel lively and authentic. Considering how affordable it is, the overall value is fantastic."
"If you are looking for a good Lamb minced kebab (Koobideh in Persian or kofta in Arabic) I definitly recommend this restuarnt if you pass bye. The taste is great. They made it in Iraqi - Kurdish way and the taste isdifferent. Other meals are good aslo but my recommendation is that. They serve it with rice or bread as you like. Usually they accept only cash, so be ready. Otherwise there is an ATM near."
"Outstanding restaurant. Hard to believe being in central london a restaurant could offer complimentary starters. Prices are amazingly low. Amazing value for money. We ordered mixed grill juicy tender crispy very tasty. Service is superb."
"Absolutely loved the food. Everything was perfect. From the complimentary lentil soup starter to the traditional tea, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled. The bread was scrumptiously soft and fluffy. The salads and condiments were all really flavourful. Could not fault a thing. The food service was really fast. Staff was courteous. Very good value for money and generous portions. Will be visiting again and recommending to all my friends and family"
"From the moment I arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. I only managed to take a picture of the tea because the second the food arrived, I couldn’t wait to dive in. Every dish looked incredible and tasted even better. The flavors were spot on, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. It’s one of those meals where you don’t want to pause for photos because you’re too busy enjoying every bite. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish, and I can’t wait to come back."
"Always full whenever we come visit They serve a mountain of complimentary salads, houmous, bread and soup as well as 1 round of tea. The grilled meats are delicious, full of flavour and perfectly timed to acheive a juicy interior and crisp exterior. Amazing homemade breads which are enough to fill you up. The mixed grill comes with everything you need and pairs perfectly with their condiments This is the 3rd time i have come here for dinner with a big group without booking and despite having to wait 10 minutes it was an amazing experience. Will definitely be coming back! Quickly becoming my familys favourite restaurant on edgeware road"
